BRYAN, Maurice A. - Putnam

Maurice A. Bryan, 74 Route 1,Fillmore died late Saturday evening at the Putnam County Hospital.

Born in Marion Township, Putnam County, on April 10,1909, he was the son of Alex and Dovie Gibbens Bryan.

Mr. Bryan was educated at Fillmore Schools.

He worked at the American Zinc Products and farmed in Floyd Township, until his retirement in 1976.

Survivors include his wife, Lena Bryan; three sons, Clark, Route 1, Greencastle; Sidney, New Winchester, and James, Darlington; and two daughters, Mrs. Doyne (Martha) Priest and Mrs. Norman (Anna) Wood, both of Greencastle.

Also surviving are 4 sisters, Mrs. Oscar (Mary) McKamey and Mrs. Artie (Helen) McNary, both of Greencastle, Mrs. Richard (Virginia) Graves, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Darrel (Betty) Becker, Illinois; a brother, Russell Bryan, Plainfield; 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives

Mr. Bryan was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenneth Bryan.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle. Burial will follow at Fillmore Cemetery.
